HOSTING THE EVENT IS FCTAMusic, a registered cultural charity (#077942) devoted to the cause of music. Their mission is to promote musical excellence through education, performance and cultural events.
Funds raised from FCTAMs events go towards sponsoring talented, but financially challenged students, and towards their cost of Trinity College of London music exams.
Steven Felmore has served on the committee of FCTAM as Chairman for several years. He has steered the charity to great success in several previous events. His passion for music and the guitar has been a lifelong commitment, which saw him sit for his LTCL performers in classical guitar in 2011. Besides music teaching he is an accomplished artist, illustrator and graphic designer. In his early years he performed electric guitar in his own jazz/rock group. He brings a wealth of stylistic and musical knowledge to his role as Assistant Teacher at the Guitar Orchestra Retreat.
