Charity Achievements

Charity achievements are enormous and include: outreach workshops in previously disadvantaged areas to train young musicians to whom we have also donated new instruments (guitars), regular student concerts, master classes, the sponsoring of lessons and internationally accredited exams, the raising of R85,000 for the Cape Town International Guitar Festival and Avril Kinsey Classical Guitar Competition, sourcing adjudicators from as far afield as USA and The Netherlands and artists from around South Africa and the rest of the world.

FCTAM (NPO 077942) is active in the community achieving its mission of: Fostering talent and musical excellence through music education, examination, concerts and festival events.
